The Breakfast Group was created by Eric Yu & Connie O'Donovan in 1991. Both Eric & Connie brought their experience in & passion for the hospitality industry to their first venture with Villa Stefano in Holborn. Villa Stefano was a tremendous success, leading to the launch of venues such as Substation Soho & South, Saint, Jerusalem, Social London, Social Nottingham, Opium, Grand Central, Punk, Maya, Salvador & Amanda. Most recently, The Breakfast Group has seen the opening of 68 & Boston & Burlock in September 2016.
The Breakfast Group is an award-winning organisation, having received since its inception such accolades as Best Multiple Operator in Flavour Magazine. Opium, their famous West End cocktail bar and dim sum parlour, has been named one of the Top 50 Cocktail Bars and has been awarded bar team of the year. Theme Magazine has also named Eric as the most influential individual.
Eric's expertise is for not just for drinks & food, but for creating out of this world creative bar concepts and experiences which excite & delight guests.
